14TH ANNUAL WINE WOMEN & SHOES RAISES MORE THAN $850,000 TO SUPPORT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES
One of hundreds of lovely guests who joined us for an afternoon of impact and intention.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 25, 2026) — YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee hosted its 14th annual Wine Women & Shoes, presented by Regions, at Music City Center on Saturday, March 21—raising more than $850,000 to support life-saving domestic violence services across the region. Recognized by NFocus magazine as Nashville’s Best Women’s Event, the sold-out luncheon welcomed 600 attendees, including many mothers and daughters who shared the experience together—among them co-emcees Vicki Yates and Torri Yates-Orr, who brought energy and heart to the stage.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit YWCA’s Domestic Violence Services, including the 70-bed Weaver Domestic Violence Center, Abbie’s Safe Home pet shelter, and Re-New at the YWCA, which helps survivors rebuild their lives with dignity.
“This event is a powerful reflection of what our community can do when we come together with purpose,” said Sharon K. Roberson, President and CEO of YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee. “Thank you to the survivors. You are the teachers who show us how to do this work better every day.”
Guests were welcomed with a floral step-and-repeat before entering the vibrant marketplace featuring favorite vendors such as Kendra Scott, The Vault Luxury Resale, and the YWCA’s Dress for Success Nashville pop-up boutique. New experiences included a Girls Inc. Charm Bar, makeup touch-up station, and a roving selfie photographer. More than 150 volunteers helped bring the event to life, including The Brentwood Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc..
Co-chairs Roxianne Bethune, Laurie Miller, and Meredith Risner led this year’s effort. Additional leading sponsors included: AllianceBernstein, Bass, Berry & Sims, Old National Bank, Mars Petcare, and Fifth Third Bank.
A highlight of the afternoon was the Stand Up for Change mission moment, which raised $200,000 in just 15 minutes to support survivors and critical services. Watch the Mission Moment video here.
Guests participated in an exciting live auction featuring exclusive experiences, including a private tasting at Whiskey House Nashville to international travel packages. The event also celebrated standout moments of fun and fashion, with Best in Shoe Winner: Toni F. Davis, whose peacock-inspired booties wowed the crowd and the Key to the Closet Winner: Dwanna Hughes, who won a prize package valued at more than $25,000.
From the first toast to the final paddle raise, Wine Women & Shoes 2026 was an afternoon defined by generosity, connection, and purpose.
