Volunteer

Our Work is Powered by Volunteers.

Make a difference in the lives of the women, children, & families we serve by joining our YWCA volunteer team. We are excited to offer several volunteer roles in our Dress for Success, Re-New at YWCA, and She Shed programs for adults who have weekday availability. We also rely on volunteers to help us with our special events.

Volunteering as an individual starts with a mandatory orientation. We offer orientation once-a-quarter, via Zoom. Click the button below to add your contact information to our list of interested volunteers to receive a notice of our next orientation session (TBA).

Volunteers must be at least 18-years-old. YWCA does not offer court-mandated community service volunteer opportunities. If you need to log volunteer hours for a college service learning project, please explore our internship opportunities.

Group Volunteering

Hands-on Site Projects: When needed, we host small volunteer groups (4-6 adults) to help us with light maintenance & storage organization projects at one of our facilities. These projects are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday mornings or afternoons.

Donation Drives: Collect, sort, & deliver items we urgently need for our programs. This is a great way for your group to work together to support our agency. We’ll help guide your focus and effort to ensure success.

Please contact Allison Adams via email to learn about current small group volunteer opportunities or to plan your donation drive.
