March Lunch & Learn
Thursday, March 26
11:30 PM–1:00 PM CST
1608 Woodmont Blvd
Virtual option available via Zoom
In recognition of Women’s History Month, we invite you to join us for an IN PERSON Lunch & Learn bringing together women nonprofit leaders who are working across different sectors to strengthen communities and expand opportunity. As we reflect on the legacy of women in social change movements, we are asking a guiding question: What does it take for real change to happen, and what roles do different leaders play in making that change possible?
Lasting progress is rarely the result of one strategy or one organization. It is shaped through an ecosystem of roles that include research, advocacy, direct service, institutional leadership, healing, and education. This conversation will explore how women-led organizations across Nashville and beyond operate within this ecosystem and how collaboration strengthens collective impact. Together, we will reflect on how different approaches to community work complement one another and how individuals can find meaningful ways to contribute.
This conversation features:
Antricia Gordon, MBA
Deputy Director, The Equity Alliance
Alexza Barajas Clark, Ph.D.
Executive Director, EdTrust-Tennessee
Katina R. Beard, MSPH
Chief Executive Officer, Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center
Sharon K. Roberson
President & CEO
YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee
This event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided for the first 50 in-person registrants. A virtual option will also be available for those who wish to join online.
