The mission of AMEND Together is to end violence against women and girls by engaging men and boys to be a part of the solution."By further spreading our message throughout the Nashville community, and more specifically our city's sports communities, we continue to successfully share AMEND Together's ideals, including the principle that 'Real Men Respect Women','” said Foster of the Predators partnership and podcast launch. “Whether the NBA or the NHL, the impact these organizations can have by publicly showing their support for our mission will result in the culture shift we aim to instill.”The Nashville Predators' support of YWCA’s AMEND Together initiative dates to 2014 when CEO Sean Henry and the organization stepped up to host community events, forums, and game experiences for school-aged AMEND club participants. In 2017, the Nashville Predators Foundation committed $500,000 to the initiative and helped spread awareness of the mission through, among other efforts, public service announcements and outreach events. In addition, the local AMEND Together logo will be re-branded to symbolize the united stance to end violence against women and girls. This upcoming podcast debut on Predators game night marks a period of re-launch for AMEND Together as a whole. This is not only a new chapter for AMEND Together, but one for the Nashville Predators as well, uniting the two brands under one common goal. “The Nashville Predators are thrilled to join forces with AMEND Together and the YWCA,” said Sean Henry. “We are proud to be a part of their important and impactful mission as we begin this joint venture.”The AMEND Together Podcast is launching prior to the Predators' Oct. 27 game, with celebrations from 4:30-6 pm CT scheduled at the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame inside Bridgestone Arena.  Through this podcast, Foster hopes to extend AMEND Together’s vision and place a broader lens on the issue of violence against women and girls by including men and boys in the conversation.
