Wine Women & Shoes 2020 – Key to the Closet revealed. Join us in-person on April 23, 2022 for the 10th annual Wine Women & Shoes, presented by Regions.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 8, 2022) – YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee is hosting its 10th annual Wine Women & Shoes sponsored by Regions at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel on Saturday, April 23. This event brings Nashville’s most extraordinary women together to support individuals and their families who are experiencing domestic violence. Over the past nine years, Wine Women & Shoes has raised more $2 million for YWCA to provide safety and shelter to thousands who turn to the Weaver Domestic Violence Center in their greatest time of need.

Attendees will spend an afternoon sipping fine wines, shopping, and bidding on live and silent auction items.  Featured marketplace vendors include Kendra Scott, Dress for Success, and P. Sherrod & Co. The event features a Wall of Wine and the “Key to the Closet” filled with experiences, clothing, jewelry, and luxury items worth over $10,000.  The afternoon will wrap-up with an inspiring mission moment that highlights the life-saving work of the YWCA.

The last in-person Wine Women & Shoes event took place in February of 2020, with NewsChannel 5 anchor and YWCA board member Vicki Yates serving as emcee. She hosted the virtual Wine Women & Shoes in 2021 and will return to host the in-person event later this month.

“We are excited to be back in person and raise more funds for our domestic violence services,” said Wine Women & Shoes co-chairs Toni Francis Davis and Lethia Mann. “This event is all about women helping women, and we can’t wait to spend a Saturday supporting those who are fleeing violent homes and starting their lives anew.”

All proceeds benefit YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee’s domestic violence services, including the Weaver Domestic Violence Center, the 24-Hour Crisis and Support Helpline, Re-New at the YWCA, adult and children’s counseling, and other supportive services.
