The YWCA needs an additional Part-time Youth Specialist to work in schools and facilitates Girls, Inc. curriculum to middle school girls, helping each girl be confident about who she is, resist stereotypes, develop leadership skills, achieve her dreams, and become strong, smart and bold. Other responsibilities include working with high school students to provide free job preparation training and help them prepare to interview for and secure their first job.  Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 2 years related experience required. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, proven success in group facilitation with youth in a classroom setting.

Domestic Violence Service

Part-time Relief Advocate called in on an as-needed basis to provide direct-care services to women & children who are temporarily living in domestic violence center. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills; HS diploma and related experience required; Bachelor's preferred; fluency in Spanish a plus. Daytime & overnight hours. Must be willing to work at least 30 hours per month, could be more depending on need and availability. Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
