Outreach Services Director is responsible for development, implementation and staffing of outreach services for the YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee, ensuring a high quality response to clients & partner agencies. This includes significant community outreach/education about program services and supervision of Elder Abuse Program, support groups, and domestic violence counseling and referral services to the Immigrant and Refugee population. Bachelor degree in social work or related field; Master’s preferred. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills a must. Two years relevant experience, including some public speaking and staff supervision. Fluency in English and Spanish a plus.
YWCA seeks a mission-focused Case Manager to serve residents who are living temporarily in our domestic violence center. This position has a primary focus for helping women move toward self-sufficiency and self-determination. Key responsibilities include goal setting, individual and group counseling, responding to crisis line, and coordination of community resources. Bachelor’s degree in the human services field plus 2 years related experience. Strong counseling, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and conflict resolution skills a must. Fluency in English and Spanish a plus. Sun-Thurs with some weekend and evening work required.
Director of Youth Services, with the YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee, will lead the expansion of this program which has two areas of focus. Girls, Inc. serves low income, middle-school girls, helping to empower every girl to be herself, to resist stereotypes, develop leadership skills and achieve her dreams and become strong, smart, and bold. Youth Advantage provides free job preparation training for high school students seeking their first job. Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 2 years related experience required. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, proven success in program development, fiscal management and supervision.
