Saint Thomas Health Services is the 2008 AWA Corporate Honoree
Corporate honorees are chosen based on their commitment to helping women enter the work force and advance in their careers, and for providing a positive work environment for female employees.

The YWCA is pleased to announce that First Tennessee Bank is the title sponsor for this year's Academy for Women of Achievement.

"We are honored to partner with First Tennessee for the third year.  The First Tennessee sponsorship allows us to maximize the capacity of AWA support for YWCA programs," explained YWCA CEO, Pat Shea.  "It is a pleasure to work with First Tennessee on AWA, our signature event," she concluded.

This year's AWA event is on October 28, 2008 at the Renaissance Hotel.

For more than a decade, the YWCA, through the Academy for Women of Achievement, has honored those whose leadership is a role model for women and young girls.  Since 1992, 91 women and 16 organizations have been recognized.
