2009 AWA Photos

Title sponsor, First Tennessee provided funding that served as the foundation for the event.  Dollar General provided critical funding for the event while McNeely Pigott & Fox and the Tennessean offered generous in-kind contributions that we could not have done without.  Other sponsors included Earnhardt Pirkle, Inc, NewsChannel 5, Allstate Southern Region and the Renaissance Nashville Hotel.  2009 AWA chairs, Christie Wilson and Debbie Turner committed themselves to lead a successful event that would fund the continuation of the YWCA’s mission to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.  AWA 2009, exceeded the budgeted goals.  We are very grateful.  Thanks to sponsors, chairs, honorees and all of you who attended.
