The YWCA offers FREE GED®
(General Educational Development) classes at three sites in the Nashville area - morning, afternoon, evening and Saturday classes are available.

 

All YWCA teachers are certified by the State of Tennessee and work with students in a typical classroom setting to improve math, language and reading skills needed to pass the GED® test.

SERVICES OFFERED BY THE GE
D® PREPARATION PROGRAM INCLUDE:

  • Instruction in all areas of the GED® (writing, math, literature, science and social studies)
  • Assistance in setting and obtaining educational goals
  • Administration of TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) to assess student progress
  • FREE GED® Practice tests offered weekly
