24-hour hotline, shelter, children's therapeutic play groups, and support groups. The domestic violence program provides help for every stage of abuse recovery, starting with our confidential, region wide hotline. Domestic violence volunteers and staff also offer presentations on healthy relationships and the dynamics of domestic violence.

Youth Advantage offers preparation training for high school students seeking their first job. Teenagers learn appropriate workplace communication and behavior as well as networking, resume preparation and interviewing skills.
Girls Inc is serving 5th and 6th grade girls at two underperforming Metro schools situated in very poor and violent neighborhoods. The research based curriculum will cover drug/alcohol prevention, pregnancy prevention and violence prevention.
Adult education, GED
® preparation classes at convenient locations in Davidson County. Mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturday classes available. We also help immigrants successfully adjust to our culture and community by providing literacy instruction for English Speakers of Other Languages to help them improve reading, language and math skills.
The YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee has been working to eliminate racism for more than a century; however, too few people are aware of this commitment. The new YWCA USA brand calls on every YWCA to enrich its services by working to eliminate racism within the context of its own community’s needs.
